Help elect Hawk for Mayor

Meet Beau Hawk

Beau Hawk is a labor leader and community advocate running for Mayor to fight for real affordability and results for the people who make our community great. Hawk was raised by a single mother who earned a living cleaning houses, instilling in him the dignity of hard work. His passion for fairness and belief that there’s dignity in every job led him to union organizing, where he’s risen in leadership. Representatives from over 30 unions comprised of thousands of workers elected Hawk as President of the Knoxville-Oak Ridge Central Labor Council to fight daily for the interest of their members: from KAT bus drivers, to grocery store workers, to symphony orchestra musicians, to postal workers. Hawk isn’t a career politician — he’s a trusted local leader who listens first, builds consensus, and gets things done for the working families who make this community run.

ON THE ISSUES

“I believe we all have more in common with each other than we do with the good ole boy system that’s run Knox County government, and I believe it’s time for a change.

I’m running because I’m tired of seeing the real struggles of everyday people ignored by the status quo politicians who have made Knox County a harder place to raise a family. I will bring Knox County residents together around a common-sense platform to build an affordable, prosperous future for us all.”
